Mizuho Hotel with Pool

"This hotel is my favorite to stay at in Tokyo. The rooms are comfortable and good sized. The staff is incredibly friendly. It is quiet at night, and has plenty of restaurants and a conbini within just a couple minutes walk. It is also super close to the Ikebukuro metropolitan exit. The convenience can't be beat."

"Great location, very important to know you need west exit of train station - navigating was difficult even with Google Maps!! No grid system and many streets are 2 levels. Loved our room and 2 unexpected surprises- a view of Mt Fuji and of the nightly projection show at the Govt building. Check out the nice fountain and outdoor seating at the Starbucks across the street- across from level 2 of the hotel!"

"I expected a picture perfect stay. The only things that were slightly off: 1. mag-safe phone charger wasn’t working (they replaced it) 2. Breakfast was amazing but waiter never asked me if I wanted any juice. 3. The arrangement of the floors is a little wacky. The 41st floor is reception. You take an elevator to higher floors to reach the guest rooms. To get to fitness center you go to 45th floor for entrance and then a side elevator to 47th floor for actual gym/pool. Felt like solving a maze. I love the two bar floors. Just like what I remembered from the film “List in Translation.”"
