"Great place to stay, the staff always help you with everything. The food is not amazing but is not bad. The only proble is the access to the property, there is no signs and it was really difficult to find the place."

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

Peaceful oasis

"We had an amazing stay at Sunshine Marine Lodge. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The reception team helped with arranging tours and activities - we especially loved the tour of Stone Town! The hotel also offers transfer services from the airport, which was really convenient. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also great, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast and the daily specials for lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend this stay enough!"

"We stayed 2 nights in Sunshine Bay Hotel. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, ensuring that we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to make our experience seamless. The hotel facilities were top-notch—everything was pristine and designed with comfort in mind. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered every amenity I could need. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms truly stood out. Whether it was enjoying a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, relaxing by the pool, or simply taking in the stunning views from the beach, every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. "Lovely place to stay. Food was ok. Room very spacious and beautifully decorated. Massage was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the manager was a bit of an opportunist and will try get extra $$ when he gets a chance. Overall beautiful place. Would definitely recommend."
