If you like a quirky spot to stay, this is it! It’s funky, clean, and well cared for, but a bit dated (in the best way). The pool with the slide is really fun, but can be a bit crowded. The breakfast spread is great. There is a ping pong table as well as some arcade games. The location is VERY walkable. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay when visiting Arches! We liked the bunks for our boys and the heated pool w/ slide was a nice touch as well as the hot tub for post day hiking! Convenient for walking to some of the local restaurants (we checked out Zaks and it was just okay, got a Tirramisu Latte & Green Chile Breakfast burrito at Love Muffin across the street & it was FANTASTIC! As a Texan I am picky about my breakfast tacos! The hotel included breakfast was good, but lacking a bit, would have been nice to have bananas, bagels and yogurt available. We chose to do laundry here before continiuing on for a 9 day road trip, but no way to get cash at the hotel and had to pay at the ATM at the convenient store next door bc they wouldn't do cash back, so just be a bit more prepared there than me.. Overall would consider chosing this location again when visiting Moab.

This was a gem of a location for our family w two kids! Free arcade, heated outdoor pool with a slide and hot tub, fun decor, great free breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff, and walking distance to anything you need in town. Next time we head to Moab, we already know where we will stay!

Breakfast was mostly waffles and rolls. I’m diabetic and couldn’t eat anything but 2 boiled eggs and my husband had a small roll. You need to add scrambled eggs, meat and low fat yogurt. The room and staff were great.

We really liked the hotel, great breakfast, fun pool. Staff was great and hotel was clean. However, the bathroom shower wouldn’t drain well and kept filling up when we used it.

We spent 4 nights here, in a 3 queen room. The room was nice, but we were not thrilled with the bathroom. Not sure if the tub and toilet was original but it was the old 70s green..and every time we flushed the toilet we worried it would over flow. It used sooo much water in the bowl every time. With that said the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the heated pool with water slide and hot tub. The hot tub seems pretty old and not in great shape. The pool often had debris in it..from Cheetos to plastic etc..but it is right next to the main road through town and I’m sure it is easy for debris to blow through the fence and into pool. There were signs of upkeep badly needed in the pool bathroom building (doors). The breakfast was decent but could use better variety..like fresh eggs and sausage or bacon. It was a nice having laundry available on site. Overall we would stay again…but it wasn’t as nice as we had expected from looking at the listing online. Staff were ok..didn’t really have much interactions with any.

The Expedition Lodge is purpose-built for rugged outdoor enthusiasts and well suited for that purpose. No carpeting makes for freedom to track up the floor with bikes, hiking boots and mountain climbing gear. The breakfast is adequate and strong coffee is (almost) always available. The staff are very laid back and friendly. The pool and hot tub is ideal for end of day soaking.
