「Easy check in with codes. Good location. Good communication. I needed a few extra minutes for check out and they gave it. Arturo is friendly. Travelers should be aware that when paying the hotel directly there is an 11 percent, or $10 in my case, credit card processing charge or perhaps it is a currency conversion fee, I’m not sure. I was not aware of this in advance. The proprietor said I am the only person to have reported this situation to him.」

While I do agree the water pressure wasn’t great and that it wasn’t as close to amenities as other hotels, but the two separate sitting areas, dinning room, washer/dryer, and kitchen set up, plus private outdoor space made this space worth it. 」

「Just got back tonight after 6 nights at Casa Mali. First time in Mexico City and this was a winner. Great location at the south end of a beautiful park, very safe area with lots of cafes and restaurants around. Secure entry with 24 h guard who lets you in. Boutiques for shopping in all directions. We got a master suite with separate bedroom and it was quite spacious and since the bedroom was on the interior, also quiet. Laundry in the room a real bonus. I would not hesitate to stay here again.」

Maestro Taquero, Cantina La Llorona, and Cielito were some of the places we enjoyed. The front desk is staffed 24 hours/day. They do not have cash, so they are not able to change larger bills for smaller ones; most establishments in the area accept card, but I like having cash for tipping. And they only provide clean towels every 3 days, so plan...
