「Fab place, fab location 」

「This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!」

「Having stayed in Wanlockhead for a week at the end of June 2021, this property seemed like an ideal overnight stay during a house move from the the South Coast to Aberdeen. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean.」

The garden is welcoming with the added benefits of seeing the two resident horses in the adjacent field. You may be welcomed by two wee black cats whom can curl up on the porch, an animal lovers dream. Cathy is an excellent host whom responds quickly to any queries.
