"The Hotel was really nice. I wish the front desk was more helpful in telling us where some of the stores, bars, and things to do in this area. We were luckily enough to find a small grocery store not too far away. And also, some places to eat. The pool was never used by anyone while we were there. The water is much too cold. Solar heat might be an idea. The beach water was also cold so no swimming there either. Nothing you could do about that! Very clean hotel! We were surprised that there weren't any gift stores, beach bars along the beaches. Just a beautiful hotel sitting in a nice area with nothing around. You can only look at the Fort for so long. Maybe there were things to see, we were never told. The breakfast was really good! Sorry, I won't go back to Porto any time soon."

"This was the best hotel and staff that we have experienced in Portugal this year. The staff made the stay amazing, the service was 5 star. The rooms were big, clean and lovely. Comfy beds and a nice shower and bathroom. We stayed multiple nights and even went back again on our way to another adventure. The food was wonderful and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. The selections were amazing and lots of fresh fruit. The bar was nice and quiet, watched lots of soccer and had amazing food there as well. My son says the best Caesar salad he’s ever had and the Angus burger is a must. Wonderful service and hospitality."

"I stayed here my first night of the Camino. It is conveniently located not far from the trail and to the beach. There are some restaurants in the area. I had a small single which was very clean. My k my complaint would be that the sewer smell from the drains came into the room. But I have had the same experience the last two visits I had to Porto at two other hotels so it may just be an infrastructure issue. Overall a good experience."
