There was a lot to like about this hotel. It was in a good location in Molveno with parking. The terrace had great views and a nice jacuzzi. The Bar area was lovely, with fantastic views. Our room had a lovely balcony and views, and the one meal we had in the restaurant was really nice.
However..... there are a lot of things that need improved. Our main complaint was that our fridge didn't work. It took over a day and a half after complaining before a replacement was found, with no great apologies for the inconvenience.
There was a missing handle from one of the wardrobe doors, with screws protruding, which was dangerous. Our complaint to the receptionist was met with a shrug of the shoulders. The furniture in the room was generally very tired.
The Bar is understaffed during the day so service is very slow, and the waitresses take umbrage when customers try to get their attention. We ordered a couple of toasties, one of which was extremely burnt. My wife left the burnt slice and when I mentioned it, when paying, stating it was inedible, the owner's response was to argue we should have complained when he served it. Whilst this may be true, but my wife didn't want to make a fuss given the other issues, arguably he shouldn't have served it in that visibly burnt state.
Breakfast is ok, but would benefit from a wider range of fresh fruit.
It is a shame these things let down what could be a fantastic hotel. We won't be back.
