I visited Southern Palms Beach Resort for 2 nights with my wife after a 5-day safari. It took only 10-15 minutes from Ukunda (Diani) Airport. I saw a Carrefour on the way to the hotel. The beach was beautiful, and the staff were all very kind. The pool was also clean and spacious, with plenty of beach chairs both by the pool and on the beach. All food and drinks were included in the all-inclusive plan, and there were several restaurants and bars available, some of which were open 24 hours. The food was good, and one highlight was the pizza we had for an afternoon snack around 3 p.m. at the beachfront restaurant—it was really memorable! There were no other Asian guests except for us during our stay, but I felt completely comfortable. We were a little worried about mosquitoes before we arrived, but we didn't see a single one during our stay.

Certainly not five star more like three or four. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and is the only reason it could be four star but generally three star because the food is the same everyday. surprisingly you have to pay extra for shellfish seafood even on all inclusive package which I find strange as a coastal hotel and access to an ocean full of crabs and prawns.

Great location. Not the friendliest staff when we visited, and the resort could do with a little more TLC in places, but a pleasant stay regardless. But we had a wonderful time. The Valentine's special was a rip off considering it was 90% the same food as the all-inclusive menu we had already paid for.

Wir würden aufjedenfall wieder her kommen :)
