“Great motel right on hwy 50. 6 minutes to downtown Salida. Bathrooms have been remodeled with nice towels and shampoo and soaps. ”

“The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders. One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension……

“Mick—at the front desk— is a a true gift. A super ambassador for the property and for Salida. (My wife and I sat in the lobby two nights playing cards.) Mick made everyone feel welcome throughout. There are some WiFi issues that the owners need to work on. Otherwise, this is our favorite place to stay in Salida.”

“The hot spring pools were very clean, and had a lot of variety, including adults only pools. Dinner in the dining room was good, but not spectacular (next time we'll drive into Buena Vista for dinner). Well worth the stay and a good value because of the fantastic hot springs.”
