"We had a wonderful stay at Gaye’s home. The house had absolutely everything we needed to host my family for Thanksgiving, from a well-equipped kitchen to plenty of space for everyone to relax. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked, which made our holiday stress-free and enjoyable. Gaye was a great host, and we’d gladly stay here again."

"Beautiful serene views of Cerro Pedernal! Home is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Bring your own charcoal for grill. Stars are out of this world! Sunsets are beautiful from the deck. Roads are a little rough to the property. Drove in a Lincoln Nautilus and did ok. Outdoor shower is the only shower at the home. The big bath tub is perfect for soaking and relaxation. The chaise lounge chair pictured is not there but there is a large couch on the deck. Overall great stay! Wished I had more time to explore “The Land”. "

"This is by far one of the best properties I have stayed at! The house was absolutely beautiful with so much thoughtfulness going into the items we might need during our stay; there were even binoculars for us to use! The grounds were so peaceful and quiet with plenty of space to spread out. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, if you're considering this property, BOOK IT...you will not be disappointed. Amber was very responsive every time I reached out to her and her father even came to look for us when we thought we were lost. "

"We stayed at this property 10 years ago and were delighted to pay another visit. We love these mesas and this particular location is a stunner. The well-designed two-part residence is great for two couples with different schedules. There were lots of condiments and pantry items from previous guests (though one would have to guess about the age of some of them). Some correctable issues: I had to ask for entry instructions with less than 48 hrs before our arrival. There was no manual with instructions for TV, things to do, checkout info. The kitchen appeared clean, but roaches ate through plastic bags of dry goods leaving lots of poop all over. Battery-operated things (DVD player, window shades) had dead batteries (none on site); a bedside light needed a new bulb; working the lock on the French doors was hit and miss; no basic tools to make small fixes; one of the mattresses in the twin bed room is totally shot. The worst thing was that the interior doorknob to the bedroom was sitting on the counter inside the door. The first person in closed the door and couldn't get out without someone opening it from the outside (fortunately we didn't all go in together!). We had to tape the latch in so it wouldn't engage, and then keep locking and unlocking the door so the wind didn't blow it open.Clearly the knob hadn't worked in a while, and the last person who left the house would have known it was inside and unattached to the door. Very hard to understand why this hadn't been fixed."
