“Retro Athens Hotel was a small boutique hotel with 16 rooms. Hotel was very modern. Shower area was large and separate from toilet. Bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony that overlooked the streets below.
Breakfast had a small but tasty selection. There was always cucumber water, coffee, tea and cookies available in the lobby all day. The staff was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. There was a metal gate on the door that was locked for safety. You used your room key for entry.

“Room was very clean and bath fixtures were new. The hotel is in a great area and walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. I highly recommend but the only down side was the stairs. We were on the second floor and it was 53 stairs up to the room.”

“Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was water in the fridge, a coffee maker and hot pot. The hotel was located close to shops and restaurants. I liked that entrance to the hotel and room was just by an access code. Didn’t have to be concerned about losing a key or key card. ”

“Perfect location. Walking distance to major attractions. Staff is very nice and friendly however check in process was a little bit slow. Arrives at 15:00 but had to wait about 20 mins for available room. Room is very nice decorated but the air conditioner stopped working at mid night with error code CH 04 appeared on the control screen of the air-con around 3am. Without air-con it’s hard to get sleep in August night in Athens. System returned to normal at around 9am next day. Besides that there……
