Perfect Location for a Peaceful Family Holiday

We have just returned from our second holiday at this beautiful apartment in the gorgeous historic Grand Hotel in Mondariz Balneario (and I’m sure we will be back again). As we already knew, the apartment is perfectly situated with excellent onsite facilities, especially the pool!! and every amenity (shop, cafes, restaurants, bars etc) within easy walking distance. The host contact Carolina, is so welcoming and accommodating, no request is to much trouble. We had a lovely peaceful holiday, just relaxing by the pool and enjoying the local area, I cannot recommend enough 10/10!! We will definitely book again.

Un alojamiento precioso en un entorno de lujo, pero lo mejor sin duda, la atención, amabilidad y trato de Carolina que nos ha facilitado todo y ha conseguido que tengamos una estancia de 10. Muy recomendable y para repetir en cualquier época del año.

A lovely place to stay in Mondariz-Balneario

A very peaceful & elegant place to stay. The building was constructed as a fancy resort centered around local springs (water) that drew people there for health reasons back in the early 20th c. After a fire, and subsequent reconstruction in the 90's it is now condos / apartments, one of which is this lovely unit. Located on two levels, with the lower level below grade & facing a secluded terrace. Very clean, owner and property manager are very helpful & friendly. Place was clean and welcoming. Pool and grounds are well kept. No complaints at all - would recommend to anyone.

El apartamento está muy bien equipado, la chica que nos recibió es un encanto y nos facilitó la entrada y la salida,todo un detalle la botellita de vino así como los cafés y algunas cosas de cortesía que nos dejaron, también muy cómodo que tengan detergente para la lavadora y lavavajillas,así como productos de limpieza, y no tener que comprarlos si vas un par de días, disfrutar de esa terraza a sido una experiencia fantástica,lo volveré a alquilar cuando venga mi familia ya que yo tengo un apartamento es ese mismo edificio y conozco el resto de las zonas comunes,

Beautiful Historic Property in Mondariz

We had a wonderful stay at the gorgeous former Grand hotel Mondariz, now converted in to luxurious modern apartments. Our host Caroline called us before we even flew out to confirm our arrangements and make sure we had directions and knew where to park. She met us on arrival and was very warm and welcoming, even gave us a full tour of the building and all facilities and told us about the history of the building and the town. The apartment was exactly as described, if anything better than the photo’s shown, very clean and contemporary with everything we needed for our weeks stay (the welcome gifts were a lovely touch!!) Having the on-site private pool was perfect for the kids, most days we spent several hours there relaxing and enjoying the sunshine, sometimes we had the whole pool to ourselves!! The other guests/residents were equally friendly and the kids enjoyed playing in the pool with the other children there despite the language gap. The property is walking distance from the river beach, and lots of forest walks, a small supermarket, as well as plenty of cafes and bars and restaurants (though bear in mind most close between 2pm-4pm) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future!!
