「Hotel is quite basic for the rates charged. It requires updating and more 3 pin plug sockets. The location is perfect for prayers etc as it's by the river. The restaurant serves extremely nice veg food at a reasonable price.」

「We stayed at Narayan Kothi, Varanasi for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms and hospitality were good, and we enjoyed our time at the property. However, there are some areas that need serious improvement, especially food quality and service follow-up. I ordered Dahi Kebab during the stay, after which I suffered food poisoning. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras — it’s totally worth it!」

「Comfy, clean room. Good location, very close to Assi ghat. Linen was not too fresh, somwone's hair on the pillows. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Apparebtly, it also takes 15 mins to check out in the morning. That is if there are no other guests checking out at the same time. It would have been good to know before I arranged for the taxi pickup ") All in all, good value for money; and with some simple improvements, it has the potential for excellency. 」
