Puglia - a wonderful discovery
In May 2024, we rented a holiday flat in Monopoli for 2 weeks. The tour operator WePuglia was our contact right from the start. Communication with WePuglia was efficient, clear, customer-orientated and very pleasant at all times. We felt very well looked after at every stage.
The holiday flat we rented on the edge of the historic centre of Monopoli also left nothing to be desired. Any suggestions for improvement on our part were taken up with interest by the staff responsible for us.
In our opinion, the services offered by WePuglia, such as transfers, bike hire and excursions, are in the upper price segment. There is still room for improvement in this respect.
As a tour operator, WePuglia is committed to marketing Apulia as an aspiring and rewarding holiday destination. In order to achieve this, we believe that the following points should be reconsidered:
The cycle paths in both the towns and the countryside should definitely be expanded. Without these structural measures, cycling is simply too dangerous in various respects.
Historic centres must be consistently car- and motorcycle-free in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians and the preservation of architectural landmarks.
On the whole, we were very satisfied with WePuglia as a local tour operator. We will keep Apulia in our best memories!
