Pool wasn't available and never told to us that it would be closed. Never let anyone know they were messing with the fire alarm for four hours straight with ear piercing noise in our room where we had to leave the hotel.

I booked this room on Expedia and received confirmation in the morning of my reservation.
At 6 PM I went to check in and was told my reservation was canceled. Of course, all they had were the Jacuzzi rooms which were more than double the price that I was quoted.
I had to call several hotels to find one that had a room.
I had an event that I had to be at at 8 PM and had to really scramble and was very stressed afterward.

Rooms were ok and clean. Not quite as nice as pics but were ok. Fridge was old but still worked pretty good. The TV was modern but the remote didn’t let you use all the options, like streaming, ie: YouTube, Netflix, etc. parking lot area was absolutely disgusting. Behind the building was tons of garbage spread through the brush and I believe a homeless person lived in it. Sad to look out your window and see that. The first staff we met was very nice however the midnight staff was very distant and almost rude.

This was complete false advertising. I I don’t know how they made their website looks so nice. We went there to check in and decided not to stay. We were there fishing and we have a lot of expensive gear that I’m pretty sure would’ve gotten stolen. We talked to the front desk and explained our concerns. Mike agreed we could leave without paying the minimum one night stay. As of now there is a charge on my credit card. That better go away.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are amazing, and the room was clean. This will be our go to next time we’re visiting Monroe!

Room was dirty. Hair all over in the shower. Stunk really bad. outside was a dump and no lightening at night. Not even the sign was lit up. Service was terrible guy could hardly talk he was so stoned. stayed one night and went somewhere else. But was still charged for 2 days. Was not going to try and reason with a manager that was incoherent. absolutely terrible!

The staff were helpful and kind. But I feel the overall condition of the place has gone down a bit. First they gave us a key to a room someone was already occupying, however it was due to booking through a third party so (not necessarily the staff fault), then the top latch on the door in our second room did not work, the room wasn’t cleaned appropriately/ trash still in the ice bucket and the bathroom was a little gross as well as some other small things, and lastly the toilet broke twice and needed maintenance while there for our two night stay. But overall I am not picky and understand it is a cheaper hotel. I would like to add however the pool is and has always been amazing, very clean and up-kept.
