Comfortable stay
Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had the whole top floor which was clean and comfortable. We loved how the property had a lot of character and lovely old features so we expected that we would have to walk up the 3 flights of stairs. Parkplatz Aukloster was a short walk away and when we figured out how to pay for parking (we don’t speak German) with help from Johannes, it all worked out well. Johannes responded promptly to our questions and was very kind and accommodating. Thank you!

Wir haben im Burgzimmer als Familie eine schöne Nacht im Haus Stehlings verbracht.
Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher sind ebenso vorhanden wie ein Kühlschrank.
Der kleine Garten ist für einen sommerlichen Absacker über der tiefer unten dahinplätschernden Rur gut geeignet.
Wir haben den Garten für die Wartezeit auf einen freien Tisch in der Gaststätte Haller nebenan genutzt.
Tipp für zukünftige Gäste: rechtzeitig Tisch reservieren, Abends, wenn die Tagestouristen weg sind, wird das Angebot schnell kleiner.

Sfeervolle appartement met unique uitzicht.
Prachtig accomodatie met uitstekende uitzicht op de mooiste plek van het dorp. Het appartement is genoeg groot voor 3/4 persoon en sfeervol. Minpunt is dat de badkamer klein is. Voor ons was het toch niet belangrijk.

Tale in Monschau
The perfect location in the heart of Monschau. Great view from the Windows! There is a kettle with everything you need(tea, coffee). Opposite the entrance - the rise of one of the observation platforms. There is a bakery just around the corner where you can have Breakfast in the beautiful square.The host was polite and helpful.

Historisch pand met schitterend uitzicht
Het is geen standaard hotel. Meer een woonhuis met kamers. De sleutel moet je uit een sleutelkluisje bij de deur halen. Via de mail krijg je daarvoor duidelijke instructies.
Het pand is karakteristiek en ligt in het centrum van Monschau. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon met goede bedden. De badkamer is klein maar alles werkt. De 2e slaapkamer bereik je via een kleine woonkamer met bank. Geen tv, radio of koffie/thee faciliteiten. De wifi is uitstekend. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Prima geslapen en de warme bakker zit om de hoek. Daar vind je ook veel terrasjes voor koffie en thee.
