Peaceful Bliss

We were a group of 8 women on a cozy retreat and we had such a lovely weekend at this home! It was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and the location was amazing. We especially loved all the different sitting areas where we could relax, chat, and hang out. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house has an incredible view, and the location is perfect for our needs. Less than 30 minutes to get to San Fransisco for the day, quick drive from the airport and convenient to Half Moon Bay and state parks to the south. Montara State Beach is beautiful, especially in late afternoon/evening. I will definitely rent again if the house is available .

Perfect getaway!

My partner and I and two pups needed a nearby getaway and this was the perfect spot! Close enough to us in the east bay, but far enough to feel like you’re on vacation. The space is as advertised, clean with lots of room to spread out or host a good sized party. The ocean view trails nearby were perfect for easy walks with the pups. The beach is the best beach I’ve been to in the Bay Area, it’s clean and the sand is smooth and falls off easily. The views and sunset were gorgeous to relax and watch. Views from the property were spectacular as well and if you opened the window or sat outside you can enjoy the ocean sounds. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was beautiful, exactly as advertised. I traveled across country to have surgery in San Francisco. It was a perfect location away from the city but wasn’t a far drive at all. The neighborhood was very safe to walk around. The views beautiful. The kitchen perfect to make meals. All of the cooking supplies worked well. The rooms were spread out for privacy. Beds comfortable. My boyfriend, mom and aunt stayed and we all loved it!

Fantastic!

This home was beautiful, immaculate, and exactly as described. The bedrooms are well situated so everyone has a space away from everyone else. Kitchen is well stocked and the view from the deck is fantastic. You can hear the waves! We had a little issue with the power going out (in the area, not because of the home) one of the days, and Andreia was incredibly helpful and immediately responsive, including sending a maintenance person over to check on us.

Property is true to its description. Quiet neighborhood, nice views. Easy walk to beach. House is clean with a friendly feel. Back yard is spacious and enclosed - perfect and safe for a dog. There are stairs to front door, inside house and from upper deck to backyard. Just mentioning in case you have guests or pets that may need help with them. Property managers communicated proactively about check in and check out and let us know they were available. We had a fun, easy and peaceful weekend here!

Pretty property

The stay was nice. The stairs to get inside were incredibly steep and difficult for my grandmother to manage. We also had sent the owners a message asking to extend our stay another night, online it showed there was availability and we never got a response. Overall though it was nice, just outside of the city, beds were comfortable, everything was modern and very nice. The bedroom downstairs doesn’t feel like a basement bedroom which was nice.

perfect fit

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and closeness to the beach and trails. Our family fit nicely. We enjoyed the birds in the trees and bushes and took many photos of the hummingbirds. However, the master bath did not have wash cloths or hand towels. And with 5 of us we had to wash dishes by hand every meal (hard to do with one dishtowel) so we had enough dishes for the next meal. We didn't use the dishwasher because each meal did not fill it.

Beautiful Home

The house was perfect for our group. Nice open floor plan made it feel very spacious. Location is within walking distance of the beach and many hiking trails along the bluff. Property manager was quick to respond and bring us a new coffee maker when we realized the one in the kitchen was broken. The only negative for me was the King bed is very, very firm. I like firm but I would consider this more like hard. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

We loved the place and the check-in was pretty smooth. We had trouble opening the lockbox but as soon as I called I got it open and I think they were already on their way over. The kitchen is well-equipped and it was very comfortable for the 4 of us and the 2 dogs. Loved that we could hike from the place and walk to the beach (although crossing PCH felt scary!).

Great place for a large group that needs to spread out. Very clean and generally well stocked but had a bit of a neglected feel to it - lots of lightbulbs not working, some pots/pans had seen better days, grimy windows on the outside detracted from the view. Everything was spotlessly clean, the mattresses were nice and firm, there were plenty of towels and blankets. Neighbors were extremely nice, and very helpful when we had questions. Far enough outside the city to be peaceful but close enough for an Uber. Walking distance to several restaurants at the Montará State Park, which was wonderful. Recommended.

We stayed here for a quick getaway and absolutely fell in love with the property. It’s well appointed and cozy inside with spacious rooms and a beautiful deck and outside space that was perfect for us to enjoy and our dogs. The home is peaceful and beautifully maintained and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived! The location is great, just a short drive to our favorite restaurants in Half Moon Bay and the neighborhood is quiet and great for a walk. We plan to come again and again!
