Staycation

We come to Monte Rio every year and will definitely try to return to this lovely home! It has great location to our favorite coffee shops and hike spots. We enjoyed the fire place and fenced in yard for our bubs.

This place has all the amenities listed on the site. Upstairs suite with covered patio excellent. Patio off the dining/ entry way is very relaxing, Sauna is great, cooking grill great, kitchen great, very quiet area and walking distance to river is close. All the needed beach amenities are there for your use. I will be back.

We enjoyed our time at this cozy house in the redwoods of Monte Rio. The place was clean, quiet, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The deck was a nice spot to relax, and the location made it easy to get to the river and nearby trails.Overall, a pleasant and easy stay. We defiantly plan on coming back.

Soul Spa in Monte Rio

The Soul Spa provided the perfect home base for the 2 day music event at the amphitheater that we were attending, only a 5 minute walk.

Went for an anniversary trip - the place was very accommodating and eclectic. Would have been nice to have instructions for the wall air conditioners and sauna, but we finally figured it out. The location was good - walking around Monte Rio and so close to Guernville, the ocean and the river! The Amenities were great - washer/dryer, dish washer, the decks. Very comfy

We enjoyed the location which was secluded, quiet and serene. However basic necessities like Zip lick baggiesPaper plateKleenexWere not part of the amenities.Lastly, the pictures and list of items included a hair dryer because my girl has thick hair we did not arrive with one.I notified the local support, they responded with I’ll check and never followed up.Sad to say after using VRBOs for over 10 years this will not be one.

I love the place it was beautifully and quiet. My girls and i had a great time. The one thing i did not like is when someone try to say I was having more ppl staying at the place when it wasnt true. I make sure I fallow th rulse I'm not a person that be rude in someone place. I understand the person was looking out for the own but it just made me uncomfortable. But lucky the own was understandable.

This review is for the place we were put into because we were double booked at this rental. Between the owner, owner's agents, and VRBO no help was provided. Customers should not be forced to be in contact with 4 different agents/owners in order to resolve an issue. If you rent this place and someone else got there first just turn around and go home. We were placed in a different rental in a different town in a room that was 90f until 9pm then the neighboring unit started their furniture moving from 11pm to 5am. No one should have to put up with this.
