“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“Roberto and Victoria are lovely! So nice, very helpful and breakfast was so nice out in the garden! Roberto can’t do enough for you! Hotel is up around the middle of the town, well located to go up or down and near everything! The room we had was old, crowded and bathroom very tiny, even hard for my husband to fit between the sink and wall to get to the toilet, it’s just that the property is old and not renovated so understandable but because I depend a lot on reviews, I’m telling it like it……

“This hotel is the definition of La Dolce Vita! Starting from the beginning, when first arrived to the hotel, they picked up our bags, showed us around the property and responded any questions that we had. Elisa was amazing! She showed us around the property, he gave us recommendations of where to go in Siena, and was super friendly and welcoming! The hotel has excellent amenities and everything that you need. “Such a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fontanelle! A one stop destination to fully relax and enjoy. A beautiful property, lovely staff especially Carlo! From the pool, to the restaurants, to the winery on property we didn’t feel we had to leave all weekend! The guest relations team helped organize a hot air balloon ride over Chianti! It was a magical weekend! We will definitely be back.”
