Check-in was Super Easy. Walked in and Everything was clean, neatly decorated and smelled good! You have an awesome view from the balcony! The Shower is Huge which we love because they are normally small in places we rent. Marvin was fast in responding when I had any questions. He also accommodated us staying another night as our flight was delayed coming in. We will definitely be back next year and look forward to staying at the property again!

Always An Awesome Stay

I love staying at this property. Always auper clean, nice and cold air conditioning and a awesome view of the beach and pool. The balcony has awesome chair cushions. I usually spend most of my time on the balcony.

It was a very comfortable stay The beach was private for the property & clean occasional glitch of not having water / hot water for few hrs but was resolved quickly which was more of resort issue than the vrbo property we stayed in. The owner was friendly, helpful & promptly answered all messages .

This is our 2nd time staying in this unit and we were very pleased that our suggestions for minor tweaks from last year were acted on. The unit is very comfortable and is a relaxing place to refresh after a dreary winter. We definitely recommend it a couple’s retreat.

Safe, Beautiful, Clean and wonderful Staff

The property was better than expected. The pics online did not give the room justice and loved the service provided by staff at resort and being able to take advantage of membership. Property was beautiful and loved the hospitality of the bar staff Gary and security. Hope to be able to visit again soon. Lastly, the owner communicated promptly and was very helpful. Thanks for everything!

Great place!

The listing is located on the Jewel Grande Resort. You get access to all amenities except the all inclusive. You have to pay for that. The listing itself was comfortable and accurate as in the pics provided. It does have a bit of rough spots. But overall, great stay!

Beautiful property

Really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone on the property were very helpful and friendly. The unit was perfect. Only small issues were the hot water in the bathtub didn’t get hot.. That was very disappointing. I booked this place for the bathtub. Some of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work. Hopefully the owner will fix those minor issues . Overall I would definitely stay here again. The view from the balcony was amazing.

Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied. Totally comfortable bed; which is a key for enjoyment. Pretty practical, user functional, kitchen. A couple head scratchers; which were no big concern. - The garburator was dysfunctional. - No manuals to reference correct functioning of appliances (learning curve basics... straight forward, if reference is simply available) Nonetheless, we indeed would choose to return! Double thumbs up; best comfortably describes our confidence. Cheers!!!

Great Escape

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and booked the 1 room condo via Vrbo. Upon arrival, my husband and I were happily surprised to find out that the 4th floor condo was on the property of Jewel Grande resorts. Thus, we had access to all the amenities and could have joined the all-inclusive meal plan if we wanted. We opted to pay as you go since we wanted to sample the local fare in Montego Bay and beyond. The resort was fantastic! I floated away to my room after my spa treatment. Also, the exercise classes, including yoga on the beach, were a nice bonus. And - oh, the beach….. I don’t believe I need to say more - except it was amazing. The unit was spacious with a private deck. There were a few minor issues: freezer did’t work (could not fully close so ice built up) but fridge worked well. Limited supply of wash cloths and condo needed a few minor upgrades. We could have requested housekeeping services for an additional fee but did not. Kitchen was stocked with adequate appliances and utensils but we didn’t cook, except to use the microwave. The short comings from the unit were more than offset by the offerings from this first class Jewell Grande resort.

Super Nice Property

Beautiful

I have visited several times and I love everything about the place. I’m still trying to figure out the oven but I don’t cook like that and my partner has to take me out to dinner so I have no complaints! The only complaint I have is check in either the room is not ready or it’s so crowded after traveling so far it can be aggravating but not enough for me to stop visiting the hospitality makes up for it

THE APARTMENT WAS AT A VERY NICE RESORT. THE CLEANING FEE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE VRBO PRICE NOR WAS THE INFORMATION ABOUT BUYING THE ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE WHICH WAS OPTIONAL. THE MANAGER OF THE VRBO RESPONDED FAST TO ALL TEXT AND CALLS. LAST NIGHT OF THE STAY AIR CONDITIONER WAS BROKEN THE ENTIRE DAY BUT IT GOT REPAIRED. IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. OTHER THAN THAT EXCELLENT QUICK GETAWAY. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE CHOICE.

Worst stay of our life

We have traveled all over the world & stayed in many rentals. While we loved Jamaica, we’ve never received service as poor as we did with Marvin. Marvin is not a host. He is a property owner that provides zero support to guests. He will not help you with any issues or concerns. He expected us to know we have to go to the front desk for all issues, without telling us. Once he finally explained he lives in another country & has no control over the unit, we realized we were stuck in Jamaica with zero support from the host. The front desk told us we needed to talk to the Vrbo host for all issues, completely contradicting what the host said. On day 2, we had a strange man break into our unit using a key. I was not clothed & was very alarmed, screaming at him to leave. He forced his way inside to “check the door”. He didn’t check anything, he only walked into the unit then walked back out. The host did NOTHING to assist, in fact he acted frustrated rather than apologetic. From this point on, communication with the host was horrendous. He ignored 95% of my messages. Then, our electricity went out in the unit for 14 hours. The host did not respond, nor did he offer a resolution. Front desk told us we need to work out a resolution with the host, which wasn’t possible due to the hosts unhelpful attitude and unresponsiveness. On top of that, the bath needs a deep clean/refinishing. We rented this unit specifically for the romantic bath & didn’t get to use it bc it was so gross.

Appartement dans hôtel tout inclu

L'appartement est très confortable, même si le détecteur de fumée qui flash toute la nuit au dessus du lit est pénible. Il faut bien comprendre que vous vous retrouvez dans un de ces grands hôtels "tout inclu", loin de tout restaurant-commerce indépendant. Vous êtes captif car les taxis sont hors de prix (40 USD pour l'aéroport qui est à 10 minutes). Donc si vous ne voulez pas dépendre des restaurants de l'hôtel, où il est un peu compliqué de payer en cash, mais on y arrive, faites le plein de courses pour votre séjour en venant de l'aéroport si vous n'êtes pas véhiculé. Vous ne trouverez rien en avance dans l'appartement, ni lessive, ni base de cuisine. Ensuite vous serez dans une prison dorée hyper sécurisée, avec une petite plage pour barboter, pas nager et une belle piscine. Bruit des jeux et musique quasiment en permanence. Pas moyen de marcher plus loin sur la plage, encore de grands hôtels qui privatisent le bord de mer et les gardes vous empêchent de passer. J'explique cela car je n'ai pas trouvé ces explications dans les autres commentaires. Donc si c'est votre truc, allez y, vous passerez un séjour agréable.
