Had to go to Walmart to buy my own towels, the hotel towels were badly stained and I could not risk putting my face on it. This made me hesitant using the rest of the amenities. Friendly staff. Beach is right there.

Dirty sheets and towels with visible marks/stains. The room looks outdated. The staff at check in and the lady at the breakfast area was super friendly and nice. The only gripe was that the office staff didn’t let us know the water was shut off when we arrived. That meant the toilet wouldn’t flush and you couldn’t wash your hands or shower. Overall it was a cheap place to stay, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

I understand that work is being done in some areas of the motel, but it was pretty messy in the parking area and on the walkways. No shower body wash was provided. I called the front desk to ask that it be provided. Fresh towels were provided but no body wash or bath soap. I placed a privacy sign on the door because I had an important medical meeting in the morning at 9am. Around 9:35 the door was knocked on by housekeeping and this disrupted my medical appointment, well before the checkout time.

We’ve stayed at several Best Western locations in different cities, and this property meets the usual standards in terms of room size, breakfast, and overall hardware. The location is convenient, and the basic amenities are fine. However, the front desk service was extremely disappointing. They were not understaffed—there were always two young employees present, but they spent most of their time chatting and using their phones. We stayed for two nights, and the TV in our room didn’t work from the moment we checked in. I called the front desk, but no one answered. When I went down in person, the receptionist simply wrote down a note and said someone would come to fix it. No one ever showed up. The second day, I reported it again, and again nothing happened. By the third time, I was very frustrated. The staff member finally told me to “just try switching the input source to HDMI” as if that were the standard solution. At that point, it was clear they had no intention of helping. The lack of responsiveness and professionalism at the front desk overshadowed what could have been a decent stay. I hope management takes this seriously, because the service here does not match the Best Western experience we’ve had elsewhere.

The tv wasn’t working, one of the lights was out, the blow dryer overheated and even burned my wife’s finger. I kept calling front desk several times but they would not answer. On the positive side we had a clean room.

We were told at check in that they were completely double booked. The gentleman at Best Western booked a room for us at the sister hotel next door, Country Inn & Suites, for the inconvenience and the young lady who checked us in was helpful. But as soon as we opened the door, it smelled of mildew and rust. Dust was everywhere, the AC unit had leftover cereal in the vent, the shower head was rusted, there was mold in the bathroom, the beds felt as if they were broken and were extremely dusty, and the cabinet in the room had rolled up blankets and pillows as if they were used previously. My mom called and asked the front desk if we could get another room. They switched us rooms and the 2nd room we got was just as bad. The only redeeming quality was no smell as soon as we opened the door. Upon going in though, there was something sticky on the desk, the outlets next to the bed didn’t have electricity, the floor in the bathroom and in the room was dusty and dirty as if it hadn’t been swept in weeks, the towels smelled used like they’ve been used over and over without washing, there was more mold and rust in the bathroom, the water wouldn’t go down the drain in the shower, and again the floor and walls in the bathroom were really dirty. While we’re grateful for being able to get a room after a hotels.com hiccup, the conditions of both rooms were unacceptable. We cancelled the reservation and booked another hotel. Again this is not about Best Western, this is about the Country Inn
