HVI is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Restaurants, wineries and shops are less than a 10 minute walk away. We will definitely be back.

The room was very clean, and the staff was super friendly! It was nice and quiet, which made it the perfect weekend getaway. The only con was on our last day, the hot water in the shower wouldn’t really heat up. Not sure if this had anything to do with the fact that it was storming, but it basically didn’t warm up at all. We were in a bit of rush to leave due to the storm so we took our cold showers and left without mentioning it to the office staff. Other than that we really enjoyed the property.

We’ve stayed here often over the past few years, primarily due to its location directly adjacent to the extraordinary Hidden Valley Music Seminars. The Hidden Valley Inn has undergone substantial renovations of late and the property keeps getting better and better with each stay. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and at a nice temperature. There were yard games as well. The hotel is a short distance from restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The check-in person was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. We would return here again to explore Carmel and Big Sur.

We loved this property. This is a remodeled motel with a very nice pool in Carmel Valley, They offer a complimentary pastry of your choice and coffee for breakfast. The hotel is very close to dining and lots of wineries.

Beautiful area in Carmel Valley. Welcoming. Private parking. Beautiful views. State of the Art kitchen but the faucet was too sensitive. Difficult to keep it on since it had movement sensors. Nonetheless made a delicious dinner seated with view of towering trees. Would definitely go again!

Quiet beautiful setting

Small quiet place surrounded by beauty. Room was clean and comfortable. Could have used a mirror to get dressed though. Pool looked nice but too cold to go in. Short walk to many great little restaurants. Nice pastries for morning breakfast. Great place to relax for a weekend

Hidden Gem.

I had a great experience at Hidden Valley Inn. Truly a gem and at a very affordable price. I planned a solo trip for new years & this place was perfect. The only thing the room was missing was a microwave. But the bed was comfortable and the place was clean.

This was a beautiful place to stay. It had a wonderful pool right out infront of our room- didnt get in the pool but will definitely jump in next time. The carmel beach and carmel towel was only a 20 min drive away, it also had great dine in options that were walkable (5-7 mins). However, front desk staff mentioned they’d have fresh pastries out at 7 in the morning, but when we got there for 7:30 am they were still closed which was a bit of a bummer.
