「The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. We saw wildlife, hiked all over in the woods and were given fresh eggs and honey from the hosts. Frank and Micki are determined to make your stay comfortable and memorable. 「Just wow! We truly enjoyed the Cabin, the amazing view (especially at sunrise), and the area. The cabin was clean, well appointed with games, movies, kitchen supplies and anything we could need. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Lots of wildlife viewing, even had a bear make a brief appearance in the yard. The area didn't disappoint either, from a pontoon at Burnsville to the local state parks, we have a wonderful visit.」

「Was a great place, clean, nice. 」

「The Cozy Cabin is the perfect name for it. It is a very cute cozy little cabin. Its location is very convenient. We went to Cass, Snowshoe, and a few other local places. Had pizza from The Kickin Chicken and it was delicious. Dennis-the host is fantastic. He’s very fast with responses to messages or questions. Checking in was very easy. I used Apple Maps and the directions took me right to the house. We even met the cleaning lady and she’s just the sweetest. I’m very happy with our booking. 」

「This was our 3rd year at this cabin and it was wonderful as always. We mostly enjoyed the deck, creek and hot tub. Tue seclusion is just what we needed ro unwind. The host is super responsive. We will be back again next year!」

「We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. 」

「Wonderful location WAYYYY out in the country. It was peaceful, quiet, loaded with wildlife, and we had a blast. The property is clean, communications with the host were perfect, and the log cabin is quaint and very comfortable.」

Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. The hosts were great with communication, offering to help when needed but also perfectly willing to keep a distance when we wanted to embrace the...
