The drive from Liberia airport was a long one, but totally worth it to drive into the little village of Montezuma and into the jungle paradise of Ylang Ylang. Our room was right on the ocean. Going to sleep with the crash of the ocean waves outside our door. Beaches - mostly empty save the hermit crabs and occasional local dog. Staff - outstanding. Bed - comfortable. This is a slice of paradise. Highly recommended for those who don’t want to be surrounded by a hundred other people on vacation. Truly amazing"

"This is a gem in Santa Teresa. The staff are all superb my kids loved the surf instructor (Diego is amazing) and I loved the morning yoga instructor (Daniella is superb) a great way to start your day and spend the whole day with attentive and professional staff. You will never regret staying here and the kids are already asking me if we can come back again next year. A brand new hotel who already have got it all together the small guest amenities (watermelon water throughout the property) and chic design work together with direct beach front property. It was hard to leave but we will definitely be back. Pura Vida, Team Fermata!"
