“We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!”

“Super clean, conveniently located, charming, pet friendly with trails for dog walking and fenced in back yard, convenient to walk to SPAC, five min drive to shops, quiet area. Can’t wait to come back.”

“This is a very nice new house located just a few minutes walk to the racetrack. It was fully outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very nice and responsive throughout the process. The location was great if you’re headed to the races. We would definitely stay there again!”

“We had a great stay and would highly recommend it to others. The cabin was cozy and clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. The firepit was perfect for our nightly bonfires and plenty of wood was provided. The deck was spacious and we loved having our meals overlooking the lake. We used the kayacks provided and fished off the docks. The sunsets were beautiful, what a view. We can't say enough nice things about Henry and Leigh, they were gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make……

“Had a few hiccups but was fixed immediately. Beautiful place had a fun time exploring and swinging by the creek. Perfect for a private family vacation. ”

“Came in for the weekend to attend 2 DMB shows at SPAC and to have a field trip for my senior dog. Both Me and my Dog loved the place. Super peaceful area and in a reasonable distance to SPAC. One negative is that the AC wasn’t too great. It’s ok in the loft sleeping area, but downstairs stays pretty warm, and I was here during cooler summer temps. Just be mindful of that if you like your AC like I do.”

“As our second stay at Sunrise Cottage, it was another wonderful time! The house is perfect, it’s roomy and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you will need. The lake is absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and serene! Astrid(host) is the best. She is super friendly and helpful. She is easy to contact and quick to respond. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Sunrise Cottage.”

“Lovely place in a beautiful and solitary setting. And is often the case, the hosts made this even more special with their extra care and quick responses. Their thoughtfulness was also obvious in the care, furnishings and extra treats! We were also close enough to interesting features to have relaxed day trips.”

“Amazing views from the top of the lake. RIGHT. ON. THE. LAKE. Kayaking was great. Porch swing was relaxing. Decor was rustic in the best way. A real throwback, somehow also modernized. Loved it!”
