"I took a side trip to Châteauroux between matches of the World Cup Soccer tournament so I could spend two days visiting the Brenne Nature Reserve. Of the six hotels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this one has been easily the best. Terrific hosts, good breakfast and dinner service, and a top-rate room at a very reasonable rate. A good walkable location in the city center as well."

"A place to crash one night by the motorway. Would not want to use it for anything else. Automated code entry to the hotel and room. Little supervision. All feels a little louche. "Booked to stay over night as passing through, check in was through an electronic device so no actual person in reception, check in was fine and easy to do, in going into the room we were shocked at how small it was, the bathroom is very similar to what you get on a boat crossing ferry, no plug sockets in room to charge phones etc so bare this in mind if you are needing to recharge, room was clean, we decided to not stay the night due to facilities available and booked elsewhere "
