Great time for the full family

Spent 2 weeks in August at this property with full family enjoying lovely weather. Excellent large heated pool in lovely garden setting, used every day. Plenty of space with comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms. The grandchildren loved feeding the animals in the adjacent small holding.

Fantastic time at a fantastic property. Eric was so helpful and even delivered fresh eggs, tomatoes and courgettes. The kitchen is pretty basic so you may want to take a sharp knife with you. We took BBQ tools with us and have left those for the next guest, so no need to worry about that! The star of the show is by far the grounds. The pool is wonderful, large and safe. The giant fish in ths pond put on a good show. The animals directly behind the property gave many moments of fun for the children, who absolutely loved taking all the vegetable cuttings to feed them. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful house and garden with brilliant , genial host

If you like an attractive garden filled with birdsong in a peaceful setting, attached to a well renovated house and cared for by a genial host, ever attentive without being intrusive, then this might be the place for you. Oh, and did I mention the immaculate heated pool set in a securely fenced environment to keep children and pets safe, Don’t think I mentioned the petting zoo attached by way of a field at the rear of the garden, completely separate for those who don’t care for animals. There, the four tame sheep can be hand fed, chickens run to eat spare bread and salad while the four geese wander over to share any treats that are going.. if this sounds idyllic, this was our experience. Nearby Montpon Menesterol has a weekly market and a couple of supermarkets for supplies as well as a a riverside water park. Nearby Villefranche de Lonchat offers a small bastide to visit complete with evening markets and world famous St Emilion is a great day out. If you tire of the heated pool, there is a leisure lake nearby offering water sports and a beach complete with a cafe and a walk all round the lake. Buckets Auberge with its French chef owner in Montazeau offers great value and delicious food,, a favourite with the locals. We cannot praise this listing highly enough and should point out that the delightful owner has not redone the photographs, so if you want great value and a wonderful holiday, we would strongly recommend this great place.

Petit week-end avec la famille et amis propriétaire très présent ont manque de rien juste dommage pour le temps qui était pas de notre coter mais sinon très bonne accueil réactivité 100% pour se reposer et profiter de certaine activité à coter c’est idéale je recommande franchement rien a dire.

Propriété au top! Une maison confortable et bien équipée, une piscine super grande et bien chaude pour accueillir toute la famille pour profiter et s'amuser et un extérieur magnifique pour se détendre et ne plus penser à rien 🥰. Maison adaptée pour les familles avec enfants (alarme+dôme piscine). Tout est adapté et clôturé, présence d’un parc avec animaux (poules, mouton) que les enfants peuvent nourrir + étang Maison en cours de rénovation, un vrai plus. Piscine au top, grande et chauffée. Propriétaire accueillant et disponible tout au long du séjour. Très bonne réactivité de celui-ci en cas de soucis. Très bon séjour, nous recommandons.
