The room was dated and not up to par. They said that the bed was a queen but it was more like double. The bathroom has no place to put anything on the counter, the tub had jets, but they didn't work. When you stepped into the shower you had to bend to get underneath it, and couches old, light fixtures hanging. Simply not up to standards of what is expected for the price.

Although my room was ready at 3 pm, I was told that normal check in time is 4. It sounds quite late. Only one set of towels in the room for 2 people. Liked nice reception folks.

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites, Montreal. Everyone was welcoming and our room was comfortable. The concierge Donald was a delight. He recommended at great restaurant nearby and helped us with our tour of Montreal. Would definitely stay again. The location was perfect and the restaurant was exellent.

Location is fantastic. Walkable to Old Montreal and Downtown in minutes and to visit popular tourist attractions. Breakfast and evening drinks were offered as part of the stay which was great. Overall our stay was excellent. Having said that, the rooms need an update asap. Dated decor and old style furniture looked like room was designed decades ago.

We were 4 people in a suite - only 2 towels provided, no extra pillows for pull out sofa, sofa bed matress was so old, thin and lumpy - terrible condition and was not made up. Had to search high and low for sheets and 1 blanket to make it up ourselves. Shower only had a handheld and was broken so had to secure it with a towel to be able to use it

First of all, do not go if your vehicle is over 6'. The Hotel only offers parking for smaller vehicles, so we we were asked to find an outdoor parking nearby that would not be under the umbrella of the Hotel. As a result, we got our 2022 Tundra stolen overnight and ended up without a vehicle for our family weekend. The area is UNSAFE. It's unfortunate, because it's walking distance so many nice things to see and do. Rooms were clean and we had this huge air tub in our bathroom. This was a nice surprise. On the other hand, the breakfast was somewhat limited. It was a busy Easter weekend and we were expecting there would be a lot of people, but they were lacking food and were not filling up so no more pancakes, bacon, pastries, yogourts and fruits. So were left with scramble eggs, sausages and toasts. Oh! And no more juice. Tthis was 1 hour before closing, so we were not last-minute. Other than that, well, no pool, but we knew that when we booked. The Lobby is small and not so inviting, but this did not matter to us. We were a family of 4, including 2 young teenagers.

The property is centrally located. A wonderful wait staff/chefs/bartenders with a variety of options. Great complimentary breakfasts and happy hour. Beautiful room with luxurious jacuzzi tub. However, no extra towels provide after requests. No plates, cups, etc. in the suite. Cobwebs around room.

We had a wonderful at the Embassy Suite by Hilton. The receptionist was very nice and friendly and the room was clean and neat. It is only two minutes from the basilica in old port and maybe 5 minutes away from Chinatown. We had little kids and had no issue walking around the hotel. We will go back whenever visiting Montreal.

I liked the location of this property. However, the web images showing the room I booked were misleading. It showed a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room but those amenities were not there when we checked in. I alerted the front desk when we first checked in but the receptionist just said we should have focused on the description and not the pictures because the pictures are for marketing. If those amenities are not part of the room then they shouldn't be included in the images for that room because that is misleading and that is bad marketing. They should have offered to change the room or offer something to make it right. The response I got was basically: "Too bad." Other than that incident though, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful overall. Cleanliness could also be improved. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly for the next guest. In terms of pros, the breakfast was good and the hotel's proximity to attractions in Old Montreal was an added feature. That being said, I wouldn't stay here again.
