The apartment was exactly as shown in photos and described. Gorgeously decorated, spotlessly clean, the nicest and most well stocked apartment that we have ever rented, ever, worldwide.
The hosts have thought of everything anyone could ever need when away from home, all in the most comfortable and cozy environment. Comfy bed, oodles of closets, tons of hangers, fluffy towels, every cooking tool imaginable, all very high quality. The welcome book gave us all the details we needed to settle in right away. I had one question while staying and my query was answered promptly.
The neighborhood was incredible. Last time we were in Montreal we stayed in the old port area, but found it to be too touristy. Always a treat to visit, but not where we want to "live." Rue Wolfe felt like "home," with groceries, SAC, fun bars and delicious food options all within a few blocks. The subway and bus options within short walking distance. We were even lucky enough to find legal street parking right across from the condo at the end of our stay, but the recommended garage was easy and close by (rates have increased to $25 per day, not bad).
We will definitely plan to return to the condo on our next visit to Montreal - our new home away from home!
