Amazing stay

I had a group of college kids come and stay and we had a great time. Property was very nice and clean and was exactly what we needed. Location was perfect as we didn’t need to use our cars at all!

Elegance!

Seven members of my family stayed here as both runners and spectators of the marathon. the location really can’t be beat! Easy walk to Mt Royal park(up) and shopping, restaurants (down). Best of both old world charm ( the huge and airy living room) and new world convenience (gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms!

Only good thing was location.

Location of this property is the only good thing I could say. It was clear the owners of this property have not put much efforts into making it a nice place to stay for a vacation. My friends and I went for a bachelorette and we encountered a laundry list of problems including: an empty key lock box where the key was supposed to be, no electricity when we walked in, both toilets at one point were broke (one was actually Jerry-rigged with a safety pin), no AC, broken fridge, black mold found all around the toilet (owner says “it’s probably dirt” later confirmed, not dirt), broken furniture, missing pillow cases, and the list could go on. The communication with this property was next to impossible and felt like we had to fight for the basic necessities the listing says it offered. We later learned from a neighbor that the owner lives in France and does not attend to his property they way he should. Extremely disappointing, and not the way our friends wanted to remember this vacation…

Multigeneration Family Vacation

Our family of 10 (grandparents, children & partners, grandchildren) went to Montreal and Quebec City together for a week, and it was important for us to stay together in houses/condos to maximize the family time during our trip. This property was a perfect place to stay in terms of space and location. Three couples and four kids were able to stay comfortably, and the two living areas meant that the teens could lounge about on their own while the adults chatted when they needed some kid time. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and the fridge and dish washer worked well. We loved being near both the park and a subway stop as well as the lovely Montreal art museum. We bought subways passes and museum passes, and then we zipped all over the city from this central location. And there are great restaurants and easy take-out options nearby. My only suggestions for the host are: 1- Stock the kitchen with more dishes. The house is advertised to sleep 14 (though I'd say that 10 was much more comfortable), but there were only 4 bowls and 12ish plates plus a mish-mash of silverware. We ended up eating cereal out of coffee cups. 2 - Have more pillow cases. There were plenty for the main beds, but none for the pillows for the sofa beds. 3 - Having a little stool or other bedside table beside each bed would be helpful for those of us who wear glasses. 4 - Including hand towels in addition to bath towels would be helpful.

Easter weekend family trip

Great apartment and location and excellent communication and responsiveness from owner. Was very convenient even without a vehicle to get around downtown.
