The staff was AMAZING, went above and beyond everyday. They greeted us every morning and evening and were so helpful with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is immaculate and I really love the updated modern look with the old historical building. Also probably the comfiest mattresses I have ever slept on in a hotel. 10/10 recommend and will be staying here again in the future!

Great option for Montrose! Large, well appointed rooms and with character. Great alternative to common hotel chains. Stayed before an early morning flight - 5 minute drive to airport. We will definitely stay here again!

Was our first time in Montrose CO. We were very happy with the Rathbone. The rooms are beautiful. The hotel is in downtown so no need to drive. The people at the Rathbone were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend this hotel.

Easy check in even late! Plenty of towels and blankets available in the room. Only issues; the walls are paper thin but they remedy this by having a white noise machine and Bluetooth speaker available in your room and that the tv does not mirror from phone and no access to Hulu even though it’s on the remote? Overall would stay again!

The staff was very friendly. The room was large and the bathroom was updated. Parking was on the street right in front of the hotel. There was a nice restaurant in the hotel and several other good dining options within a few blocks.

The communication leading up to arrival was great. Every staff member was so kind and helpful throughout my stay. The room was so beautifully decorated and well appointed with all the necessities in the bathroom. The bedding was so comfortable I almost didn’t want to leave. The food and cocktails I had at the Parlor Bar were prepared to perfection and so very tasty. I definitely recommend this property!

Overall nice stay. Clean rooms. Just a reminder that there is no elevator, so if one has big luggage once will need to take it to 2nd floor via stairs. Nice location in downtown area, close to every thing. Check in is in the cafe and share the same staff. Street parking.

This is a very nice hotel. They do not serve food but there are dining options nearby within walking distance. They have a great bar and nice cocktails. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large enough for a small gathering of friends. The shower is open/walk in on one end, large, with a rain head, shower head and hand held sprayer. Turn on all three at the same time and it is luxurious! Staff was super friendly. I give this place 6 out of 5 stars.

What a lovely place to stop for the night. A few drinks and a walk over the road to Rays for a very chilled informal dining experience. The staff at The Hotel were super friendly. Recommend !

Loved our stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. The daytime coffee shop, evening bar - restaurant was perfect for us. No elevator to the 2nd floor rooms but not a problem for us.
