「This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.」

This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. 「Property was spacious and views were beautiful! Plenty of space for my family. The house could use some upgrades, but as Scott has mentioned, the price then goes up as well. And you are in a beautiful location, and did I mention the views?! While it is a steep climb down and back up to the water, you're right on the water. There is a canoe and paddle boat, which we used on our stay without a problem. We did buy our own life jackets at a Walmart. The Foosball table was a hit for our family....

「A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!」

「Very nice property off the beaten path. Easy access to the lake with dock. We rented a boat at the nearby marina and docked right behind the house. Hosts was easy to communicate with and everything in the property is well maintained and clean. Definitely recommend.」

「Our stay was wonderful. The hosts/owners thought of everything and we had a need or want for anything. The hosts/owners were very responsive and helpful when we reached out for questions on the area. The dock house area was great and there were plenty of activities for us to do without leaving. My only complaint is that I wish the fishing was better and of course, the owners can't help with that. :)」

「We had a wonderful stay. The boys enjoyed learning about bass fishing from Billy Kohls. Great hikes nearby. Hot tub was fantastic after the cold days. Wonderful fenced in backyard for our pups. 「The house was clean and fully stocked. We did not have to go buy a bunch of items for our stay which is nice. The house location was great. Short drive to grocery store and the marina.
