「Very beautiful and comfortable cottage, decorated with great taste. Gifts on arrival, very warm welcome from the owners who were so friendly. Also beautiful dogs and cat. Wi-fi was very haphazard, but not the fault of the owners. Easy access by car to eating places and shops. Beautiful countryside. 」

「Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). 「Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ.」

「My wife and I absolutely loved everything about the retreat! Prefect, quite setting. Jamie was a great host. Day trips from the retreat to St. Andrews, etc. were wonderful and restaurants in the area excellent - especially Corrie Inn and Delivino. We HIGHLY recommend the retreat!」

「This place was amazing. It was a bit away from everything but the space was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot! It was our own apartment which was perfect for relaxing after our day of traveling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!」

「Awesome property- very well appointed, lots of beds and rooms, great outdoor space and hot tub. TV is a bit old, no ability to cast your phone or use apps like Netflix, but that is the only (minor) gripe i could find. Highly recommend this place for larger groups...」

「Had a lovely 2 nights for 90th birthday and 2 30ths. 12 adults and loads of room and everything you need on hand. Weather was fantastic so had fun outside. Very dog friendly. X」

「Honestly, the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. I would recommend staying at the Byre with no hesitation whatsoever.」

「Our party was two married couples all about 60 years old staying one night. We found the space clean, well stocked with a small grocery store close by. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided excellent information. Renters do need to be aware of the loft bedroom access via pull down ladder as some might find it challenging. However, we did not and would stay there again.」

「This is the most interesting location we have stayed due to the age of the home and amount of property. It was like stepping back in time with modern amenities. We used this as our home base to visit Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. It worked out well. If looking to get away from the business and noise of the city, it would be a good spot to relax and enjoy the property.」
