“Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay ”

Lee is an excellent host and very accommodating (even upon my late arrival), he had everything well laid out inside the property as well as outside of it.The kitchen is well furnished with all your cooking utensils available, as well as plenty of garbage/recycling/compost bags ready when needed. “This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....”

The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. “This cabin was beautiful. Not the fanciest, bur exactly what we needed...quiet! Directions were spot on. GPS worked fine. Everything was stocked, the cabin was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great visit. Will recommend this listing to anyone that wants solitude. Only loons, an osprey, and an orange cat visited us. ”
