Big Yard Escapes has two romantic off-grid Tiny Houses set in vast, peaceful bushland adjoining the Mowamba River. See wild deer and kangaroos, gaze at starry night skies and enjoy a quiet drink beside your own camp fire.
The accommodation is modern and comfortable near Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains.
Visit to kick back, slow down and relax. Wander down to the rumbling river. Experience a million dazzling stars and silence that never sounded so good.

A beautiful escape

The property was exactly as advertised and contained everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient -only 15 mins out of Jindabyne and less than half an hour to Kosciuszko NP. The tiny house was surrounded by bushland and farmland, and there was plenty of wildlife spotting. Craig was welcoming and accommodating, and his thoughtfulness in establishing the accommodation is evident. I would definitely recommend Big Yard Escapes as a peaceful getaway from the city or the grind.

This cute little hideaway is perfect for refreshing yourself and getting away from the noise, very close proximity to where you want to be in the adventurous high country but far enough away that it is just yourselves! Highly recommend.

Quiet & free of disturbances

My partner and I had a lovely 2 night stay. We were to able to appreciate the open land and little visits from the wildlife. A wonderful location with adequate privacy to relax and rejuvenate. We loved the home, it was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we need to be comfortable. We were also especially impressed with the efficiency of communication between us & Craig. Happy 'stayerz' :D

Such a beautiful house and location! We used this as a base for our snowboarding trip, however almost didn’t want to go to the snow so we could spend more time here.
