Magnificent property with Jacuzzi and private dock

Oramarama Villa  is one of the most comfortable and fully furnished properties in Moorea Island. It is located in the heart of the most famous bay in French polynesia, Cook's bay. Cook's bay is known for its natural beauty and surrounding majesteous peaks.

From the terrace of Villa Oramarama you can see on your right in the middle of Cook's bay the spectacular Mouaputa peak. The mountain is famous for having a hole right through the summit. The legends says that the hole was formed when the demi-god Pai tossed his magic spear from Tahiti to prevent Rotui (mountain) from being carried off to the island of Raiatea by the god of thieves known as Hiro.

In addition to its great location and spectacular environment, the Oramarama Villa offers spacious living areas, ideal for families or travelers seeking for space and comfort.

The living room opens onto a pleasant covered terrace facing the lagoon with high quality wooden furniture which will make your meals a delight.

The first floor welcomes 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (double sinks, shower, and toilet), a spacious living room with kitchen area, a cellar and guest toilet.
The second floor features 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom (double sinks, shower, and toilet) and is also a game room with billiards and multiple board games.

All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned for you to relax in cool comfort when not snorkeling, kayaking or exploring the inner island.

The Oramarama Villa has a large deck with wooden long chairs from where you will appreciate a breathtaking view along the famous Cook's bay.

Small boat can dock at the facility and yachts are invited to moor just in front of the villa.

What we like the most is the direct access to the lagoon and the jacuzzi right in the tropical and well planted garden facing the lagoon and magical mountains.

Guests can easily go for a swim thanks to the stairs at the dock.

This place was perfect for our family. So spacious and comfortable. The kids loved swimming off the dock. We have a son with special needs, and also appreciated that the property was gated. It made us feel safe that he couldn't wander, and really allowed us to relax and be comfortable.

Great location

This property is on the water and has great access to grocery stores and lots of adventures. The home needs a few upgrades. For example, the mattresses should be replaced, the hot tub doesn’t get “hot” and some kitchen appliances were broken. All of these things were overshadowed by the homes exceptional location and how well taken care of home is.

Great place for large groups

This place was all we could have asked for. Our group was 8, the parents and our adult children + their partners, we especially liked the outdoor covered eating area, and our adult children spent hours jumping into the water off the dock. We used the hammocks and the kitchen and the outdoor gas grill, we did not use the hot tub or the TV so can’t comment on that. The property manager Laina was fabulous. Note: the neighbor barking dogs mentioned in someone else’s review were not a problem for us, we heard them bark only rarely. Note #2. All the bedrooms, but not the main living areas, had AC. This was not a problem for us as during the day we wanted the tropical air moving through, but it was definitely nice to have the AC at night. Note #3. Having a car is mandatory. You are not walking distance to anywhere.

Amazing house on an awe inspiring island.

We loved our stay at this house. The views were amazing. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for. The pool table added fun family game times.. It was great having the snorkel tour pick us up on the backyard dock. I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat.

5 Star View with Loud Barking Dogs

I stayed for 6 days in March 2022 then another 10 days at the Hilton. Tahiti Homes and Laina were great. Home is a central location & fantastic mountain views, average sheets and bedding, Downside: Very loud dogs barking non stop next door 20 hours a day The property is in a great location facing the east (sunrise)so you will not see a sunset. The water is great for boating and kayaking but not good for snorkeling. The Cooks Bay location is centered for a short drive to east and west restaurants and snorkeling locations The house has a private security gate and lots of off street parking for 3-4 cars. Rental cars are expensive ($90US/day)so book more than 3 months in advance. This is our third trip to Moorea and the house view is amazing Good internet speed (15mb)as I worked 3-4 hours a day using Zoom calls. Lots of kitchen equipment to cook. Nice cold water filtration system. The furniture and bedding would be a three start hotel level but clean. Dogs: We own 4 dogs with two being Great Pyrenees(big dogs). There were no less than 8 dogs within 2-3 houses of this home. Both homes on the north and south side have dogs. Most bark for 2-3 hours at a time and they get other dogs going with an occasional break for an hour. The issue is they were barking some nights until 2am or 3am with the owner not even attempting to stop the noise. This took the 5 star to a 3 star

Wonderful house on Moorea

The house was well stocked, clean and very nice. The living room opens up to the patio and so you can have a comfortable outdoor experience while still in the comfort of your home. Air condition is available in all the bedrooms and worked well. The view from the patio is amazing. Overall a great experience and perfect stay for any trip.

Paradise on Earth

We just came back from the best vacation ever. The house is beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. The dock off of the house is great for trying your hand at hand fishing. From the dock we saw rays come around, trigger fish, eel, crabs, a lemon shark, an octopus, and even a manta ray. The house's location is great too, easy to get to and recognize because of the checkered pattern on the front. The beds are pretty comfy and all linens were fresh too. The beach towels were very helpful, and the house in general is well equipped. It was a learning curve to operate the stove top and oven, but a quick call to the owner and we got it. There are ants coming in and climbing in the bathrooms and closets, but they are not hostile. The tv in the master bedroom was hard to watch because it glitches, and the internet was pretty bad, but we were able to manage with our phone company. The hot tub was more of a warm bath, hardly a hottub, but the temperature can be elevated and it can be used a few hours later. We made sure to plan ahead, but that could be improved as it doesn't save energy to run it at 34°c or 40°c. The laundry room is outside in a separate location on the front of the house and had everything we needed to do our laundry, they even had life jackets available and snorkeling equipment if we wanted to. The view from the house is amazing and at night, if you lay down in the hammock you can see the stars very clearly. We had a great time, our kids loved the house too and loved using the warm outdoor shower after a beach outing and also clean the sand off our water shoes, and goggles. The kayaks were great too to explore the lagoon and just enjoy being on the water. The grocery store is fairly close and the main road is right off the neighborhood. We loved our vacation and would love to come back and stay at this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful treasure with us in this beautiful paradise.

Our best all time VRBO stay

I’ve stayed in many wonderful VRBO rentals. This one was the best. It’s prime virtue is the stunning view from the houses beachfront. Service from the management company was top drawer. The house itself was magnificent.
