"I had an overall excellent experience at the Gateway Inn. > hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable > staff was very helpful > extra call out - restaurant hostess on Wednesday 20 May was exceptional. She was friendly, personable, and on top of things. A couple of minor issues for improvement: > clock had no battery. This led to a red 'battery' warning light flashing all the time. > seat on the toilet would not stay up. Made it a little challenging for persons of the male persuasion who needed to go 'number one'. > I loved the decorations on the soap containers (wildlife). However, the soap and shampoo in the shower were thin, and was difficult to get enough to really shower or shampoo with. Less good than similar price hotels such as Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn. Overall, though, an outstanding lodging for the money."

"We enjoyed the location very much as the property is right next to the river and two miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. The owner at the front desk was friendly. We did not like the bed as it was very firm and uncomfortable. We shared this with the owner We also thought the kindling provided for the fireplace was not enough to start a fire in the fireplaces. We hope this part of the property will be renovated and we will consider staying there again."

"This was an amazing Vrbo. Spacious, clean, and a great location. Easy access to RMNP and a short drive to Estes. The beautiful creek running next to the property was so relaxing. I will be staying here again in the future."
