I enjoyed being near the rim of the canyon. The room is small by modern standards, but I found it to be cozy and quite comfortable. I enjoyed not having a television in the room and found it to be a very peaceful experience.

This stay is definitely for the adventurous. If you want the common amenities that come with a typical hotel, this isn't your place. If you want a VERY comfortable bed, a beautiful sunrise and sunset, and a unique experience, then this is your place. Communication was excellent. The drive to the camp was a bit rocky, but nothing a SUV or a higher stance vehicle could conquer. However, there was a Honda Civic that was there, so take that for what it is. Honestly, we have Verizon and it led us basically there, but there directions they send you are a great backup. I would not recommend arriving after sunset unless you're really into an adventure. Get there during daylight and familiarize yourself and then go out and explore. Jeremy was excellent when we arrived and led us right to our tent. He gave us tons of information about the area and explained how the camp worked. So, in summary, this is for the adventurous soul and check-in during daylight. Happy Travels!

This was a great opportunity to stay in a lovely historic hotel right in the Grand Canyon. It is located on the South rim trail and we could view the Grand Canyon from our room’s balcony with high top table and chairs while we had coffee and breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful to answer my questions and room was perfect with refrigerator and lovely bathroom (nice hot shower, too). I’d recommend this hotel since staying in the park is best to catch the sunrise and sunset or quick access to Bright Angel trail down into the canyon. Don’t miss the porch swings or rocking chairs on the hotel porches to sit and relax.

Location…two miles from South Rim entrance outstanding! Room was very clean, love the wireless charging station and ample USB ports in room. Lobby staff very friendly. Restaurant staff not so much, they had recently lost their bartender so Saloon was closed. Fitness area was also closed but hotel had let us know when we booked.

The staff were very nice and helpful. We had maintenance come in for a small thing and they showed up within 2 minutes and were kind and helpful.

It was next to the Grand Canyon!

I loved the tents, the bed and the furniture. It was too cold so you should consider other types of bed linen. The bathroom and toilet were not clean and uncomfortable

Amazing experience. Jeremy, the manager was awesome and helped us so much with all of our questions. The scenery was beautiful, quiet and secluded. A little cold in the evening when the heater ran our of propane but other than than, it was just about as perfect as you can imagine! Would definitely do this again!
