Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

The location is amazing - the funicular is just nearby and takes you down to Como. The views from up high are absolutely breathtaking! "I can’t say enough about the concierge team! They were able to arrange transfers, boat excursion, taxi…anything we needed with just an email. It was all arranged prior to arrival and was perfect. The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we had some minor issues. We expected more from a four-star hotel, perhaps because we’re not familiar with Italian hotel practices. For example, they only provided body wash, so we had to buy our own shampoo. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep if you prefer a chilly room. Still water is only available on the ground floor. While they made our beds every day, they didn’t change the bed linens, which wasn’t a problem for us since we usually take a bath before bed. However, if you prefer daily bed linens, this might be an issue."

"The hotel is very scenic and the grounds are lovely especially the pool area. Staff are very helpful too, room was perfect, good size and comfy bed. You can relax here all day and the views are amazing. It’s a bit of a walk up so recommend coming by car/taxi but going down is ok and a supermarket at the bottom and bus stop where you can get to town within 10 mins and Varese nord station. The only negative is the food, it just wasn’t to my liking and good value. I would definitely come back."
