I recently stayed at Cantera Diez in Morelia, and from the moment I arrived, I was struck by how beautiful and impeccably clean everything was. The aesthetics alone are impressive, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional customer service. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. It’s clear that hospitality isn’t just a job here; it’s a priority and a point of pride. A great example of this happened on my last night. I had received a voucher for a complimentary drink, so I headed to the bar a little before 10:30 p.m. As it turned out, the bar was just about to close. The bartender kindly let me know this but still offered to make my drink, though he mentioned it would have to be served in a plastic cup since they were closing down. I appreciated the gesture, but what happened next really stood out. The manager, noticing our group, came over and asked if others were also planning to order. When we said yes, but assured him we understood it was closing time, he didn’t hesitate. He told the bartender to go ahead and take everyone’s orders and insisted the drinks be served in proper glassware. That small moment captured everything that makes Cantera Diez special: the attention to detail, the genuine warmth, and the willingness to go the extra mile to create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. It’s those thoughtful touches and the outstanding service that will bring me back.
