A luxurious cabin quietly tucked away in the woods, dog-friendly, Fiber WiFi
10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful cabin! The host, Janie was incredible. She was almost instantaneous and incredibly accommodating.I would highly recommend this cabin!!!!"
"The cabin was beautiful and spacious! It is also well stocked with kitchenware and even kid plates and silverware, which is a huge plus for us/families. They also had several games and puzzles available. My kids loved the ping pong table. Berkeley Springs is a halfway place for family to gather and we like to stay at different cabins. We celebrated Easter here and my youngest birthday and had a great time. The only thing was that the AC wasn't working and we did contact the owner and they were quick to respond and even got some out to check it quickly over the holiday. Unfortunately they didn't have the part so we had to open the house for a day and a half but thankfully the rest of the time it was cool outside. And the Internet isn't great which they did mention but you still have cell service. Other than that, I definitely recommend this cabin for family getaways. "

Overlook at Sleepy Creek -secluded, creek access, grill, wifi, deck, game room
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time staying at the Overlook at Sleepy Creek. We came for Thanksgiving and weren't sure what pots and pans or appliances were available, so brought our own. That was unnecessary. The kitchen was very well stocked. As another reviewer mentioned, bring your own spices and sugar. The home was very well-organized. We easily found extra blankets and sheets for the pull-out couch. We enjoyed the ping-pong, poker, and pool tables. A couple of things to note: there was almost no cell service, which was a little concerning at times. The binder did help us get the WiFi going, which was great. Finally, the last 15 minutes of your drive to the house, give or take 5 minutes, is over a gravel road. I'm not sure our Honda Accord could have made it down the mountain had it snowed. This was a great place to stay. We'd come again."
"Nice location. Front storm door was missing a window. Turning on the heat was difficult as you had to get down on the floor to turn on, adjust temp and turn off the heat register which took awhile to find the dials. And had to use a flashlight to find. Difficult for anybody with a disability as for me I have back problems. Stairs to upstairs sleeping area were very narrow and I felt unsafe. The railing was not completely to the top of the stairs and I felt the railing was not safe. Railing didn’t go completely to the top. I slept on the couch as I didn’t feel safe at all going up the steps. One light switch was hard to find. Finally found it 3/4 hidden behind the tv. I enjoyed the views from the belconys. I suggest upgrades to the moving the access to the heat switches higher level for easier access and maybe install a more supportive stronger railing and consider making the steps wider and safer"
The Retreat at Upland Trail - Private | View | Fireplace | Game room | Fire pit
10/10 Excellent
"Exceptional view! Excellent booking process: very speedy. Beautiful deck, covered(for rainy days) and uncovered for full sunset experience, or late dinner under the stars. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything a good cook would need, including spices, pans, pots and packing supplies. I would recommend a complete set of wine glasses. They were kind of mixed and not enough for 5 persons. Rooms were very clean and very tastefully furnished and decorated. On this note, we appreciated the neutral, minimalistic style, while providing everything one might need. Lots of closets, bath and kitchen supplies. There are also lots of kids/family games, which we didn't use, but some might love. The surroundings are magnificent. If you want a peaceful and secluded retreat, that's the place for you! No cars, no neighbors, no road, nothing/nobody to see around, but pure nature! That's exactly what we needed. My parents loved it! They had a blast! My mom literally harassed me to post the review. Berkley Springs people are very nice. We shopped for excellent grass/pasture meat, organic milk, and vegetables at Creek View Farm, 10-15 minutes down the road. Such sweet people! We cooked everything we bought and ate it on the beautiful deck, under the shining stars, with a glass of wine and searching for the Ursa Major. Some people kind of complained about the private forest road to the cabin. We loved it! It was a path through deep forest towards peace and relaxation for a family reunion. "
