Just what we needed. Close to Ruby Hospital. Friendly staff. We were on the ground floor, easy to get to our vehicle abd anything we needed.

I am so sorry that you were unhappy with our lack of glassware at our hotel. Hampton Inn brand standard does not require that we stock glass items, and we do not have a kitchen facility to maintain them. I am so sorry that you were less than pleased. I wish you safe travels.

Third party sites are an excellent way to book reservations, however, there are times when the rate quoted or the room type can show up different in our system. Unfortunately, since so much time has passed since your departure, I am not able to investigate this matter as thoroughly as I could have if you had brought it to my attention during your stay.I am sorry you found your experience unpleasant and we hope to see you again one day soon!

Overall the hotel was decent and served our purposes for a one night stay. Our room seemed clean although the hallway had a bit of trash on the floor in various spots. Bed was comfortable. You could hear some noise from the hallway and other room but it wasn’t too bad. Our tv didn’t work and we called the front desk and and they were just like “oh well, there’s no maintenance workers here until the morning.” The fridge was also not working. The breakfast was good although the placement of the waffle irons is horrible. One is in a corner and the other one is on the other part next to the corner and two people can’t fit in that little space. Also they ran out of waffle mix for a long time. The one guy running the space was working hard but couldn’t keep up. They really need another worker when the hotel is so packed. Overall I think we overpaid for this hotel since half of the stuff in our room didn’t work , but as far as a place to crash for one night it was ok.

It doesn't seem as if that was explained to you, and I am sorry that it wasn't. I appreciate your feedback about the waffle irons and will look into a solution to remedy the situation you described. The shade was moved by motion and went up and down. The lock was not easy and the staff had to help me. Frustrating when I got there at 11:30 PM

I didnt like the hair in my bathroom. They did switch me rooms but managers says thats happens. I worked in cleaning in hotels and that was a big no.

Door from parking lot very hard to open. Our room would not open without a fair amount of force. The front counter girl was friendly, but somewhat confused by the fact that we were Canadian. Overall it was a disappointing stay

Disappointed
Convenient to hospital, but that's about it. Rooms aren't well maintained. Broken cabinet doors. Had to change rooms because first one didn't have a microwave. Then had the audacity to charge extra for microwave. Hampton Inn used to be a great chain. Not any more.

Clean and nice size room and bathroom. Free parking. Within walking distance of coliseum and multiple food places. Friendly staff.

Upon checking in and going to our room we discovered there was a leak from the shower that was going into the room. I went to the front desk who stated they had a leak but could not figure out where it was. They moved our room but I had to repack and move which was ok. Breakfast was good centrally located to every thing overall it was a good hotel.

Great place to stay!
We were there for my sister's surgery at WV medical center. The proximity to the hospital is what made Hampton our first choice. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

Rooms run down. Dirty room. Hair in my towels, that's not mine. Food was cold in the morning. Told the sir the batter was empty . He looked like i just punched him. Very sad stay. Manager was great. Helped with the room.

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Needed to stay close to ruby hospital since my son had a major surgery and it was basically right across the street :) highly recommend will be staying here again.
