“Receptionist at check in very competent, unfortunately the hotel its self is looking tired and could do with a total revamp. Carpets threadbare, door frames and skirtings require painting. Many scuffs and chips, Bathroom floor tiles broken, general atmosphere within the sitting areas was souless, bar area never seemed to be open.
Bed an pillows very comfy tho.”

“The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing.
We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. They took this on board and catered for all of us. Dinner was a delight.
We stayed here last year when……

“We arrived in the hotel early and left our luggages to the hotel staff. When we got back our luggage in the evening, one of the suitcases was apparently damaged. The staff tried to fixed it twice but failed. I was promised to be given at least a letter confirming the damage so that I could send it our insurer, and that the hotel would give us membership points as a compensation. The manager also said he would check the cctv and come back to us.
However, nothing happened until we chased for an……
