「The pros: really good value for money and a very affordable single room - by far the lowest price when I was booking, highly accessible location near the connection of the two main A roads in the area, characterful ancient building with a pub and beer garden on ground floor stocking local ales, quaint village setting and public square to the front, it's not actually on the main road itself so outside noise wasn't too bad with the window open. Shops and harbour were in walking distance and there was a golf course opposite. Lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. Would definite stay again and would highly recommend.」

「A beautiful 16th century inn, everything is absolutely clean from the rooms to the stairs, the food is nothing out of this world but it was quite good, my Fifi was treated like a Diva. All was fantastic and for the price it's absolutely good value for money, the landlady she's absolutely great in every way and of course she's the heart and soul of the site. 「Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.」

「We stayed in room 210 and we were disappointed with the bathroom facilities which was a portacabin block stuck in the room and was TINY. It ruined out stay to be honest because we booked 3 nights for a wedding in the area and wanted a nice place to get ready for the wedding and a mini break. It was a struggle to sit on the toilet as the door is literally in your face. No working extractor fan. This room is in serious need of attention because this isnt acceptable for over £120 a night.
