Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights still a little out dated bedroom could do with a make over although the views was fantastic could not of wished for more. All staff very friendly and attentive to all needs.

A well maintained and interesting Victorian Hotel in a beautiful seaside location. Filled with vibrant art works by one of the owners, and large, comfortable common rooms offering splendid views of the sea. The staff were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We eat out in Tintagel but the snacks in the bar area were appetising and the cakes absolutely delicious. The owners were out and about interacting with visitors. The rooms were well appointed and clean with comfortable facilities and the nightly cost very affordable. All in all, a destination that we'll undoubtedly visit again when the weather improves.

Amazing view and location. Unique property with very interesting history. Good pizza. Owner has somewhat troubling history (conspiracy theorist, Brexit supporter, etc) that may be offensive to some.

The position of the hotel with amazing sea views and beautiful surrounding scenery was very special. Inside the hotel inside was beautiful in an old fashion way but in character for the age of the hotel. The only thing that was a bit strange was the shower and toilet cubicle in the bedroom but again when the hotel was built there would not have been on suite bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the most beautiful surroundings with fantastic views.

Breakfast was awful! Sent it back i had a undercooked egg and the most watery beans ever. Didnt expect that in such a nice hotel. Room was very tatty needed a paint and ceiling was drooping few stains in carpet. Bathroom was the tiniest all plastic like a caravans bathroom and water from shower goes everywhere as its so small. TV was tiny for such a big room. Beautiful place otherwise and best location.

Great location with awesome coastal views (although you will pay a higher room rate for that view), but a car is essential if you want to explore other parts of Cornwall during your stay. Apart from a room service pizza one evening, we opted not to eat in the hotel as we like to eat out, and there are a couple of decent pubs in the village which offer plenty of choices. Overall, a great few days break.

Perched at the top of of the cliffs overlooking the ocean, Camelot Castle was an amazing spot with lots of history. It is the perfect spot to explore. the nearby Tintagel castle ruins. The views were spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended.

Camelot castle is a perfect location for Tintagel . A short walk into the village which although busy is lovely. The views from the hotel are breathtaking with a costal path direct to the small beach( check tidal times before you go) There is a lovely bar where we purchased drinks and sat outside and watches the sunset. The hotel decor is amazing and have a comfortable lounge to sit on. Our room was plenty big enough with sea view, bathroom had a bath and separate shower too and was spotless. Only thing for me was the bed was a bit too firm. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were professional but also friendly. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
