“The house was very nice. My son met us there from Texas for the weekend . We enjoyed our stay, just wish that the water level would’ve been higher so we could have use the kayaks or get the boat to the house dock. The marina dock was about an eight minute drive in the trucks to launch the boat.”

“We needed a few days to just get away and be quiet and this was perfect. It is only 2 miles out of Onalaska so whatever you need or forgot is handy, but the location still seems secluded. Wi-Fi and Roku TV included and while rustic, the cabin very quiet and the air conditioning kept things cool. Mornings enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck, watching the wildlife and just relaxing. Location within 30 minutes of the state park which was a very nice day trip.”

“Loved the waterfront view of this property and the backyard seating area is perfectly set up to grill and have dinner outside and watch the beautiful Lake Livingston sunsets. We loved the hammock as well and our pups enjoyed roaming in the backyard too. The property manager was friendly and responsive. ”

“Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street……

“Lake was nice. Home even better. Dean was very friendly and communicative throughout. Family enjoyed the stay enough we rented an extra day. Dean made that easy as well. Highly recommend. Kids loved the kayaks and game room.”

“Very cute cabin and we loved it that it was away from the other cabins for a bit more privacy. The cabin was clean and cool when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our food. The hosts were very nice and introduced themselves and took the time to visit with us and to let them know if we needed anything if it wasn't in the cabin. It was stocked well with toilet paper and paper towels too. The only drawback was the street noise from the highway and the areas by the water could……

“Property was as beautiful as the photos! Lake views were the highlight of our stay…spectacular! The yard was fenced so our pets were safe to roam and fishing from the dock entertained us for hours. House was spacious and my grandson was able to play and crawl around. Bedrooms were comfy but could’ve had luggage racks to hold suitcases. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils and we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. Could also use a Keurig that brewed more than one cup per……

“Bluegill Cottage was amazing. We went here for a quiet relaxing weekend and that is just what we got. From s'mores around the fire to jumping into the lake. Lots of great memories were made here. And the lake house was the perfect size for our group of six. Tuan was also an amazing host! It was taking a little longer than usual to cool off the house and since he couldn't get anyone to come check the air conditioner that day, he did not hesitate to come over & make sure it was running properly.……
