  • A great place to 'shelter in place. Beautiful views, scenic hikes on quiet trails, tide pool exploration.

    Moss Beach is 18 miles to San Francisco and 22 miles to Silcone Valley where you will find tech companies and business people. This is a great place to rent if you are here for work. Work hard all day and relax at night while listening to the waves steps from the house.

    Newly rebuilt house above Seal Cove Beach. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a large great room. Large deck with expansive ocean views. Beach access and beautiful Fitzpatrick Marine Reserve Park one block north of house. Two bed, two bath with large living area and brand new kitchen. Same great views from the two bed rooms and the large central living area. WiFi, 2 TV's, ample street parking. Moss Beach is between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay with great beaches, hiking and lots of activities near by for the whole family. Fifteen minute drive to San Francisco. Very short walk to the Moss Beach Brewery, voted best restaurant at Half Moon Bay.
    Truly elegantly furnished. Living room couch by Design Within Reach. Casper mattresses. Case Study bed. Hand made oriental carpets and high end kitchen fixtures.

This house has a great location for visiting the beach, walking at the nature preserve, and a wonderful restaurant just steps away. The owners were communicative and had extras like robes, slippers, sunscreen and a fully stocked kitchen.

This is a beautiful home with ocean views, a gorgeous deck with a fire table, and a very generous host. The home is a block from Seal Cove beach and the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and next door to the Moss Beach Distillery (a restaurant, not a distillery, and closes by 9). There are bluff trails to Half Moon Bay and Maverick’s Beach to watch the surfers. I would stay here again!

The large deck was ideal for taking in the grandeur of the mighty Pacific! The kitchen was very well appointed and the hosts showed great attention to the overall comfort of their guests.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moss Beach house! The home was exactly what we were hoping for. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful, and having parking just steps from the front door made everything so convenient.The ocean view was absolutely serene, and the balcony quickly became our favorite spot to relax with a cup of coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to feel at home.Communication occasionally took a little longer than expected, but the host always responded and it didn't detract from our overall experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and created wonderful memories here. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us, we would gladly stay again and highly recommend it to others!

Excellent stay, we really enjoyed the location, took hikes both north and south right from the home, super quite at night. The patio is huge and wonderfully furnished, would have spent more time out if we hadn't had super high winds, it was a little chilly. The beds were really comfy, great bedding, towels, robes and slippers even!Well equipped home, could use a bread knife for that great local sourdough though! We would come back again!

Peaceful home base

The property and location enabled us to rest and prepare for demanding days in the city. Short evening walks to the marine reserve and delicious dinners at the next door restaurant brought the vacation to our visit.
