You’ll enjoy a secluded stay in the heart of the Søndre Jeløy Landscape Conservation Area, with panoramic views across the Oslo Fjord to Horten. This spacious cabin is perfect for an extended family looking to experience coastal nature, forest trails, and open landscapes—just a short drive from Moss and an hour from Oslo.
The cabin offers plenty of space spread over two floors. In the basement, you’ll find the entrance, a bedroom with ocean views, and a newly renovated bathroom. Upstairs, a large living room opens up with a wood-burning stove and TV nook, a dining table for 8–12 people, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Four bedrooms on the first floor provide space for the whole family.
The large 5,000-square-foot garden gives you the feeling of being completely alone in nature. The covered terrace is the highlight of the house—here you can watch the ship traffic heading toward Oslo while you grill, eat, or just relax. In the evening, the town of Horten lights up on the other side of the fjord.
A short walk takes you to the beach and the coastal path. The neighboring farms Alby and Røed have a café and gallery, while Jeløy Radio serves food with a view of the fjord. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the house, but good cell phone reception in the area.
