Fancy a bit of quite time after all the work stress this year? Want to relax surrounded by beautiful nature? Look no further! Casa Rodeli near Motovun offers (almost) everything your heart desires! With a beautiful porch overlooking the medieval acropolis on the hill, Casa Rodeli is your perfect getaway! Located in the very heart of Istra, surrounded by Motovun forest and vineyards, this is your place to relax and re-charge!

After making your breakfast in this well-equipped kitchen and enjoying it on the above mentioned porch, you can spend some time reading a good book in the bedroom. With an unforgettable view and a big, comfy double bed, it definitely can be your refuge from the world.

Staying in Motovun is perfect if you were planning on visiting Istra. As Motovun is situated in the very hear of Istra, all the 'must-see' places can be reached easily and under an hour! Motovun itself has a lot of activities to offer: truffle hunting tour and wine tasting tour being only two of them! Allow yourself to be taken aback by this fertile region and dive in into an amazing gastronomic experience!

Some of the must see's around here are definitely Grožnjan, Buzet, Poreč, Novigrad, Rovinj, Pula and Brijuni!

You can also do paragliding above Motovun while here - which is an amazing experience!

There is no public transport in Motovun (apart from the shuttle that takes you up the hill) and, in general, I would recommend not counting on public transport while in Istra. That's why Istra is the ultimate road-trip destination, something like the California of Europe. So rent your car and get ready for the adventure!

I can't wait to get back here! Miro and his wife were lovely hosts. The views were spectacular, and it was very secluded and peaceful. We went on a truffle hunt with Miro, and his wife fixed us brunch afterwards. Amazing experience!
