“Awsome stay and awsome location. We loved the coca cola themed decor of the apartment. The balcony overlooking the Chatahoochee river was great for relaxing during the evening. Location is a few minutes walk to downtown and local attractions. You will not go wrong staying at this property. ”

“Property was conviently located close to all of the restaurants and shops. The Pink pig BBQ is in walking distance and absolutely delicious. I loved how spacious the property was and the view from the bedroom balcony was great. I would definitely stay here again and maybe book a longer stay next time. ”

“Check-in and communication was excellent and easy. I was grateful a previous guest had mentioned in their comments the driveway. There had been quite a bit of rain prior to our arrival so the red GA clay dirt roads and the steep driveway were less of a shock. The cabin had everything you could possible need. We went out for groceries and a quick trip into Helen but honestly, you don’t need to leave the property. Furniture is nice but not the most comfortable; remote for bedroom tv didn’t work-……

“We had the best time at Retreat 52! I took 5 "kids" (20, 18, 15, 15, 13) for a long weekend, visiting from Illinois. Things we loved:Hot tub was clean and nice.Fire pit area well lit and perfect for smores!Plenty of room in the house.Felt safe. Kids enjoyed playing pool (first time for a couple).Overall cozy feel.The porch was amazing!Host was helpful and responsive!Other notes:Would have liked to be able to see the golf course.Not recommended for anyone with trouble with stairs, lots of stairs……

“The property was flawless! The kitchen actually had everything you needed - which is not often the case with rentals. Beds and sheets comfy. Very clean. ”

“The house was great. We enjoyed the dock and porch immensely as well as the game room in the evenings. We rented a pontoon boat and jet skis from C & E marine and took the boat Al the way to see Clemson stadium from the lake. House was very comfortable and clean. Hot tub was nice too. Kitchen was well stocked for our family of 4. Owners were very responsive to our questions ”

“Our family of 13 spent 3 nights. This home is beautiful. The lay out of bedrooms and bathrooms worked great for our family of 7 adults and 6 kids. Location was excellent. Our stay was fabulous.”

“We had a blast on our vacation to helen. The black bear lodge was the perfect cozy place to come back to after a long day. So much fun stuff to do at the house too when we were too lazy to get out. Looked playing games and making smores with the kiddos!”
